The aim of British Triathlon's education programme is to provide the sport with well-trained and competent officials who will help uphold the sports standards and therefore develop the sport of triathlon in Wales.
The education of referees is an essential part of the development of Triathlon in the UK and Wales.
The aim of the new British Triathlon Referee's Education Programme is to service the increasing needs of the competitive programme with high quality officials trained to a consistent standard who operate in a fair and professional manner with common aims and objectives.
Level 1 Referee's Award
The Level 1 homestudy pack is now available for download by clicking on the pdf link below. Please complete the relevant paperwork and send it to Ruth Grainger at British Triathlon Headquarters. The course costs £10 and you should enclose this payment with your Level 1 homestudy test.

MOTORCYLE REFEREES
British and Welsh Triathlon are looking for any member of the National Motorcycle Escort Group (NEG) who is interested in being involved in triathlon as a motorcycle referee. To become a triathlon motorcycle referee you will first need to complete the British Triathlon Level 1 referee's course. However, if you are an NEG member, the Level 1 course is free so you do not need to send payment, it is also not necessary for you to complete a shadow.
